Best ever home made anti cellulite coffee scrub that works!


Ok, which woman does not suffer from cellulite in one spot or another of her body? And as we age, and our skin looses elasticity, cellulite becomes our best friend – well not really, but it is with us all of the time!! And not only on our thighs, but our stomach and arms and back……

So when I played around with a couple of treatments and ended up making this – I just had to share it, because it works!! It does take constant persistence, and I highly recommend a good natural moisturising cream or cellulite oil (you do not want to be putting chemicals on your body straight after removing the toxins from your cellulite ridden area,) be applied after your treatment and be continued daily. To make it you need:

To drink 1 litre of water in the morning before commencing this treatment, it will help flush the toxins out. You need not drink it in one go – just over the hours before hand.

Ground coffee – this has to be the real stuff, not instant!

St Ives Blemish Control Apricot Scrub – I use this as it contains Salicylic Acid which exfoliates the skin allowing for better penetration of the coffee,  Coconut oil, to hydrate and strengthen and tone the skin and Braggs Apple Cider Vinegar to tone and exfoliate.

A good natural moisturiser or cellulite cream or oil.

Organic Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV)- your ACV must contain the ‘Mother’ for it to work, the normal apple cider vinegar you buy off the supermarket shelf will not work, as it is dead and does not contain any of the enzymes you need to get results.

To use it to get serious results you need to:

Mix 1 tablespoon ground coffee  with 1 tablespoon St Ives Blemish control apricot scrub,  2 tablespoons Organic Apple Cider Vinegar and 1 tablespoon coconut oil.

Dry skin brush your whole body working the brush strokes towards the heart, spend extra time on the cellulite ridden areas.

Hop into the shower and enjoy a lovely warm one!

Turn the water off, and vigorously, starting on the worst areas of the body, rub the scrub into the skin, you can use it all over for a serious body detox, even on the non cellulite areas.

Rinse off with warm water, and then finish off with a blast of cold water. Step out of the shower before turning on the cold and pop thighs in first, then arms, then stomach and back – it is freezing, but you will feel the blood flowing and detoxing the body for a good hour afterwards!

After the shower, make sure you apply your oils or cream to your whole body.

Continue drinking another litre of water after treatment. You will notice you will make multiple treks to the toilet for the rest of the day as your body flushes out the toxic waste.

You can do this treatment daily, but I find it tends to dry out your skin, so I recommend you do it every second or third day. Keep the water up, eat lots of fresh vegetables, do daily toning exercises to tone to body. Ideally mix 10 mL of Chlorophyll into your water daily to help with the detox. Even better, also add a tablespoon ACV to warm water and honey daily to help increase your detox from inside and help stop some of the digestive issues which cause bloating and the body to store fat.
